City
Council will require rental properties to have barcodes with contact information
so Landlords can be called by the police when noise violations are in progress
by their renters. Renters violating noise regulations in a property
without a barcode will also allow the Police and the Town of Ocean City rental
authority to issue a citation for not having a rental license.

Q:
How many cars can an owner park on their lot?
A: There
is no Montego Bay community standard that limits how many cars, boats, enclosed
trailers, etc., can be parked on private property. It was checked out by
the President and the OC police. There is nothing in the Declaration of
Restrictions, the Bylaws, or the Town of Ocean City codes that limit how many
cars can be parked on private property. Cars that have valid license
plates are allowed on city streets and in Montego Bay. The Board does not
have the authority to have cars removed from private property, or from city
streets.
