Ballots will be mailed out to your primary mailing address on file at the MBCA Office.  Ballots will be mailed out by the middle of July.

BALLOTS MUST BE RECEIVED IN THE PROVIDED ENVELOPE AT THE MBCA OFFICE BY 3PM ON AUGUST 17, 2012, OR TURNED IN (in the provided envelope) AT THE GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING ON AUGUST 18, 2012.

 Additional information about the August 2012 election:
·        YOU MUST DECLARE (to the Nominating Committee Chairman or Co-Chairman) YOUR INTENT TO RUN BY JUNE 1, 2012.

All owners in good standing are eligible to run for a Director's position. There are seven Director vacancies - which includes one for Vice President and one for Treasurer.

All owners domiciled in Montego Bay are eligible to run for Vice President and Treasurer.  A representative of the lot owner of record are not eligible to run for an elected position of the Association.
·       
Directors receive no compensation for serving on the Board.  Directors filling an officer position are eligible to receive a monthly payment from the Association.

  • Officers are eligible to receive a total of $18,620 of Association funds
        ·       
    The President can decline compensation paid by the Association of $8,400.  (The 2011-2013 President declined compensation)
        ·        The Vice President can decline compensation paid by the Association of  $3,000
        ·       
    The Secretary can decline compensation paid by the Association of $2,520.  (The 2011-2013 Secretary declined compensation)
        ·        The Treasurer can decline compensation paid by the Association of $4,700
